After the recent acts of violence registered in last days in the Plurinational Republic of Bolivia, carried out by opposition groups against the government of the legitimate president, Evo Morales, we denounce:
1- The opposition rejection to the results of the past presidential elections, that gave President Evo Morales the winner.
2- The media terrorism of this organized political groups, which today, have taken the state media television, BTV and RPN, intervening their facilities and prohibiting their staff to perform their work.
3- The call, by the leader of the opposition, to interrupt the current constitutional order.
4- The call, by the leader of the opposition, to the Army and the Bolivian Police, to ignore the legitimate government.
5- The hostages abduction, harassment and burning of homes of officials and political leaders of the government, by these same actors.
From majdi we warn that these extremely serious events represents a concrete evidence of the ongoing coup against the constitutional and democratic order in Bolivia.
We make a call on these political groups to depose their acts of violence and to respect the current legal frameworks, remedying insecurity and the serious acts of violence created in the country.
Whatever the type of claim they claim, it will only be achievable within the legal structures and frameworks in force in the country.
We support the dialogue table proposed by President Evo Morales and defend the constitutional order of Bolivia.
